Terms and conditions

Bookings
By making a booking, the user confirms they are authorized on behalf of all other participants and agree to these Booking Terms and Conditions. The booking will be confirmed via a confirmation email. We kindly ask you to carefully review the confirmation received and contact us immediately in case of any discrepancies. A valid credit card is required to finalize the booking. Failure to provide such a guarantee may result in the cancellation of the booking.

Guests must be of legal age to make a booking. Minors may stay only if accompanied by a responsible adult.

Contract
The contract comes into effect upon receipt of the booking confirmation. This contract is governed by Italian law, and any disputes will fall under the jurisdiction of the competent Italian authorities.

Rates
Rates may vary, but the price confirmed at the time of booking is guaranteed. Local tourist taxes (city tax) are not included in the price and must be paid separately.

Changes and Cancellations
Change requests must be communicated via email at [email protected] or by phone at the number provided. Any changes may be treated as cancellations and re-bookings, with applicable penalties.

Cancellations are free of charge if made at least 7 days before the arrival date. For cancellations made after this period, a penalty equal to the full deposit paid or the cost of the first night of the stay will apply.

We will make every effort to avoid changes or cancellations, but we reserve the right to do so if necessary. In such cases, we will offer equivalent or superior alternatives or a full refund of any payments made.

The city tax is calculated separately and amounts to €3.00 per person per night for up to 3 nights, for individuals aged 13 years and above.

Authorization for Payment via Credit Card
By making a booking or placing an order on our website, the user authorizes MAP Srl to charge the total booking amount to the indicated credit or debit card, in accordance with the rate conditions selected at the time of purchase. This amount may include local taxes (e.g., city tax), additional fees for optional services, and other expenses indicated during the booking process.

Payment Timing
Credit card charges are processed based on the type of rate booked:

Flexible Rate: No immediate charge; the amount will be collected on the free cancellation deadline or after check-in.
Non-Refundable Rate: The amount will be charged immediately upon booking.
Pre-Authorization: To guarantee the booking, a pre-authorization may be performed on the indicated card. This does not constitute a charge but a temporary hold that will be automatically released or converted into payment upon check-in.
Payment Data Security
All credit card payments are processed through secure and certified payment platforms compliant with PCI-DSS standards. Our website uses advanced encryption technologies (SSL/TLS) to protect payment data during transmission. Mirum Apuliae does not store complete credit card details, which are handled by our payment providers.

Cancellation and Refund Policies
Cancellation and refund conditions depend on the chosen rate:

Refundable Rates: Cancellation is penalty-free within the timeframe specified in the booking confirmation. In such cases, any amounts already charged will be refunded.
Non-Refundable Rates: The amount paid is non-refundable in case of cancellation or no-show.

Local Taxes and Additional Fees
Any local tourist taxes or additional fees not included in the booking price must be paid directly at the property. These charges will be clearly stated during the booking process.

User Responsibility
The user guarantees that the payment information provided is accurate, valid, and authorized. Any fraudulent use of a credit card will be promptly reported to the relevant authorities and may result in booking cancellation.

Payment Issues Resolution
If payment processing issues occur (e.g., declined card), the user will be contacted to provide an alternative payment method within a reasonable time. Failure to provide a valid method may result in booking cancellation.

Fraud Protection
To protect our customers, all transactions are subject to anti-fraud security checks. In some cases, additional documentation may be required to verify the cardholder's identity.

Changes to Payment Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these payment terms. Any changes will be published on the website and communicated to the customer before any new bookings.

Force Majeure
We shall not be held liable for failure to deliver services due to unforeseen and unavoidable events such as natural disasters or extraordinary circumstances. While we strive to provide the highest level of service, we are not responsible for third-party failures or unforeseeable events.

Conduct
Guests are responsible for any damage or loss caused to the property. Payment for such damages must be made immediately.

Guests are responsible for retaining and presenting all necessary documents for their stay.
